Walking out of the elevator doors on the 14th floor of the One Broadway building in Cambridge, one would not immediately recognize that they have stepped into CIC’s main entrance. Recognizing this, CIC asked Arrowstreet for a few concepts for window graphics on the large Oculus conference room that you immediately see upon entry. The graphics would additionally give some privacy to the room as well.

After reviewing our concepts, CIC chose the illustrated overhead view of Kendall Square, highlighting CIC’s three buildings at the heart of this epicenter in Cambridge. After finalizing the view and vantage point, I worked on drawing the scene with all of it’s buildings and landscape. We worked on some color options, but selected these gradations of blue, green, and orange that get darker as you get in closer to the CIC buildings in the center.
